One Bowl, Melted butter Chocolate chip Cookies
I know that it takes a long time to use an electric mixer and cream butter. We all want it to be so much simpler, but still just as delicious... So that is what I did. I made chocolate chip cookies with 1 bowl, and melted butter. So simple. Look at the directions, it is 4 steps!
Have a great time baking and sharing these!
Makes about 15 (2 tbsp sized) cookies
INGREDIENTS:
-
8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
1/2 cup brown sugar
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 egg
-
1 egg yolk
-
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
-
1/4 tsp baking powder
-
1/4 tsp baking soda
-
1 tsp salt
-
1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Prepare a non-stick baking tray
-
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars. Whisk in the egg, egg yolk and vanilla extract
-
Fold the dry ingredients (baking powder, soda, all-purpose flour and salt into the bowl. Make sure to not over mix. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips
-
Scoop 1 1/2 tbsp of dough into balls and place on your baking tray, each about 1 to 2 inches apart. Bake for about 10 minutes, when the edges begin to brown. Have fun baking and then tasting the deliciousness!
