Berry Delicious Banana Smoothie
This is a classic. It's just some berries, some banana, some orange juice, and of course, some coconut water. I have a Hamilton Beach blender, which can be found here. It works super well, and is only $35!! I also have a Magic Bullet, which can be found here.
For all of the fruits I use, besides the banana, they are frozen. I like to use frozen fruits because then you don't need ice to thicken it and make the smoothie colder.
INGREDIENTS:
-
3 tbsp vanilla yogurt (you can substitute flavor, but it will make it taste different)
-
1/2 banana, sliced into pieces
-
1/8 cup frozen mango chunks
-
2/3 cup frozen berry medley*
-
1/8 cup orange juice
-
1/8-1/6 cup coconut water
DIRECTIONS:
-
Put yogurt at the bottom of the blender
-
Add sliced banana, mango and berries
-
Pour orange juice and 1/8 cup coconut water. If the liquids do not reach the 8oz line, add more coconut water until you reach the line
-
Blend for 20-30 seconds on puree whip, or until all chunks are gone and you have the desired texture
-
Pour into a cup and enjoy!!!
*I like to start by putting about 4 frozen strawberries, and then finishing the 2/3 cup with any other berries
